The Challenge
In 24 hours, with a team of 8 people, we had to transform an empty warehouse space into an esports arena-like experience that would bring together the gaming community for an action-packed weekend.
The Solution
We built an experience that empowered attendees to feel as if their event was on par with the nationwide tournaments typically hosted in Las Vegas. It made them proud to represent their gaming community. To evoke this feeling, we created an arena-like atmosphere by using 400 feet of display screens, extraordinary lighting design, and an LED marble staging with game-themed video content.
The Results
The experience we created brought together the gaming community for a highly immersive esports weekend that broke records for attendance. In fact, in-person attendance exceeded the number of live stream viewers. For the esports industry, these results were both unheard of and incredible.
