The Challenge
After two years of isolation and disconnection surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Lane Bryant wanted to host an event to gather their team together for a week of reconnection and reinvigorated purpose. Lane Bryant was also excited to introduce their employees to an exciting new brand message: “Live Your Incredible.”
The Solution
To allow employees operating Lane Bryant stores during the conference to participate, we created a hybrid event experience using a branded event app and its associated social media wall, which could be accessed during and after the event. Emotional connection was key to achieving the goal, so we produced a custom MiCircle experience where real-life customers shared their stories in a compelling, immersive video encounter. This experience left employees feeling valued for their investment in the customer experience. Employees also engaged in a 360° photo booth and lively music provided by a female DJ, both of which cultivated a space for attendees to feel bold and confident.
The Results
In only four days, employees found a new purpose and a new “why” for connecting with clients. The branded event app generated hundreds of social media posts, revealing the connection between both virtual and in person attendees. Above all, the event made employees feel connected and valued, which was Lane Bryant’s primary goal. One attendee commented about the week, “It’s been phenomenal. I feel very appreciated, I’m truly living my incredible!”
